Turkey

The Southeastern Europe World Chocolate Masters took place between 15-16 March 2013 at USLA International Service and Culinary School. Yigit Zeyneloglu , from Turkey won the preselections and will be the representative of the region for the international Final in Paris.

Yigit Zeyneloglu took part in trainings of Le Cordon Bleu Gastronomy school in London in 2000. He is working as a pastry chef at his family business Pastabahcesi Patisserie since 14 years.

During the competition, all contestants put to the test their technical and artistic skills to work with in presence of a jury of renowned industry professionals. During the two-day competetion, they executed the following creations: artistic chocolate showpiece to be assembled on the spot, moulded pralines, chocolate cake, gastronomic dessert and the revisited classic “Profiterole”. The theme of this year, Architecture of Taste, should be reflected in the different creations.

The World Chocolate Masters Southeastern Europe preselections were organized by the gourmet brands, Cacao Barry, Callebaut, Carma .
