The Russian National selection for the 2012-2013 World Chocolate Masters (WCM) took place on February 5, 2013 in the demonstration and training center CHOCOLATE ACADEMY™ (Chekhov city).
This was the 4th World Chocolate Masters National Selection
organized in Russia.
5 applicants were selected to participate in this competition:

Alexander Schikarev, Head of the training center “Laboratory of

All 5 contestants were judged by a panel of professional jury
consisting of:

Association
This 1-day contest is dedicated to the creative use of chocolate
and theme of the competition is “The Architecture of Taste”, where
each contestant created a chocolate showpiece, a moulded praline, a
gastronomy plated dessert, chocolate layered cake and classic
revisited recipe of the cake “Prague”. All participants had
demonstrated their chocolate talent and creativity during this
breath-taking competition for the jury panel to judge their work.
At the end of this thrilling contest, Vladimir Terentyev was
crowned as Russian Chocolate Master 2013. Vladimir won entry ticket
to the WCM Final October 2013 in Paris.
