World Chocolate Masters to be webcasted live

For this fifth edition, the World Chocolate Masters website (www.worldchocolatemasters.com) will webcast the 2013 Final live. Every chocolate lover from all around the world will be able to watch the Final live and support its favourite candidate. Highlighted videos will also help viewers not to miss a part of it!

This year and for the 2nd time, fans will vote online for their favourite chocolate showpiece. This social media award will be celebrated the 30th of October, during the prize award ceremony starting at 5 pm CET. Canada won this title two years ago so who will succeed this time?
As every creation, the chocolate showpieces will reflect this year’s new theme: “The Architecture of Taste”. The 20 candidates will have to demonstrate their talent and creativity and give a whole new dimension to the world of chocolate gastronomy. In short, the contestants will need to create a brand new architecture of taste, texture and experience, in which chocolate plays a fundamental role.

In parallel to this amazing competition, Cacao Barry® and Callebaut® pastry chefs and chocolatiers will animate some chocolate “private workshops”. During these unique moments, Philippe Bertrand, MOF Chocolatier and Head of Cacao Barry® Chocolate Academy™ Centre in Meulan (France), Jérôme Landrieu, Head of the Chocolate Academy™ Centre in Chicago (USA), Ramon Morató, Head of the Chocolate Academy™ Centre in Vic (Spain) and Josep Maria Ribe, Member of the World Chocolate Masters Official Committee and Callebaut Technical Advisor in Vic (Spain) will demonstrate their gastronomic talents. Ambassadors will also be present such as Philippe Labbé, 2012 French Gault et Millau Chef of the Year, Régis Marcon, 3 stars Michelin and Sergio and Javier Torres, 1 star Michelin from Spain.
