BELGIUM Herman Van Dender
Experience
Apprenticeships in Switzerland, France, Holland and Japan enabled
Van Dender to build the knowledge and skill that led him to open
his own pastry and chocolaterie shop in Brussels, and his pralines,
crafted in Belgium, can be found as far afield as Tokyo. Prior to
starting his own business, Herman worked as a pastry chef and on
several occasions worked at events held at the dutch Royal Palace,
including the Princes’ wedding for which he produced several
showpieces including dessert.
He also creates ambitious ice sculptures for high profile events
such as the Winter Olympics.
